A Line in the Sand is a 2009 war drama directed by Rob Botts about two U.S. Marines lost in the wastelands of Iraq fighting insurgency, the environment, their own ideologies, and eventually each other, to survive. Four Marines conducting a reconnaissance mission are ambushed after deviating from their route; one is killed and another captured, leaving the two remaining with nothing but the things they carry.
