Amigo is a 2010 American drama film written and directed by John Sayles. Set in the Philippines in 1900 during the Philippine-American War, the film centers on Rafael Dacanay, kapitan of the fictional barrio of San Isidro, whose brother leads a local guerrilla band when American troops arrive and leave a garrison under Lieutenant Ike Compton to protect the barrio. Stars Chris Cooper and Garret Dillahunt.
