Archangel is a 1990 Canadian experimental film directed by Guy Maddin. Set in 1919, it follows a one-legged Canadian soldier who arrives in the northern Russian town of Archangel where Bolsheviks and White Russians are still fighting, oblivious to the end of WWI.
