Frankie Starlight is a 1995 Irish drama film directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, based on the novel The Dork of Cork by Chet Raymo. The film centers on Frank Bois, who writes a successful first novel and looks back over his life with his French mother Bernadette, who hid aboard an Allied war ship to Ireland after WWII. It stars Gabriel Byrne, Anne Parillaud, and Matt Dillon.
