Ornens Oje (Eye of the Eagle) is a 1997 Danish medieval adventure film directed by Peter Flinth, set in Denmark during 1218. King Valdemar II sends his young son and heir to Bishop Eskil for safekeeping while at war, but the bishop schemes to seize the crown. The prince and a kitchen-boy overhear the plot and flee, pursued by a one-eyed man seeking revenge against the king. It won five Robert Awards.
