Rough Riders is a 1997 American TNT television miniseries directed and co-written by John Milius, about future President Theodore Roosevelt and the 1st US Volunteer Cavalry. Tom Berenger stars as Theodore Roosevelt, alongside Sam Elliott and Gary Busey, depicting their bravery at the Battle of San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War of 1898.
