The Hangover is a 2009 American comedy film directed by Todd Phillips, and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. It represents the debut installment in The Hangover trilogy. The film centers on four men traveling to Las Vegas for a bachelor celebration, who subsequently awaken with their groom missing and no recollection of the previous evening's activities.
