The Night Watch is a 2011 BBC Two television film adapted by Paula Milne from Sarah Waters' 2006 novel and directed by Richard Laxton. Set in 1940s London during and after the Blitz of World War II, the film tells its story backward through the lives of four young Londoners. Stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Claire Foy, Jodie Whittaker and Harry Treadaway.
