The Red Machine is a 2009 American thriller written and directed by Stephanie Argy and Alec Boehm. Set in Washington, D.C. in 1935, it follows a disgraced U.S. Navy spy and a jailed safecracker who team up to steal the secret of the Japanese version of the Enigma cipher machine, a red cipher machine codenamed 91-shiki injiki.
