Shogun is a 1980 American television miniseries based on James Clavell's 1975 novel, directed by Jerry London and starring Richard Chamberlain, Toshiro Mifune, and Yoko Shimada. It follows an English navigator who is shipwrecked off the coast of feudal Japan and becomes entangled in samurai politics.
