Sadat is a 1983 American two-part, four-hour made-for-television biographical miniseries starring Louis Gossett Jr. as Anwar Sadat and Madolyn Smith as his wife Jehan. The film dramatizes the life of the Egyptian leader from his early years as a young officer fighting the British to his assassination in 1981.
