Eleni is a 1985 American war drama film directed by Peter Yates and starring Kate Nelligan, John Malkovich, and Linda Hunt. Based on Nicholas Gage's memoir, it tells the story of a Greek mother executed by communists during the Greek Civil War after arranging for her children to flee, and her journalist son's later quest for justice.
