Regeneration is a 1997 British film directed by Gillies MacKinnon (released as Behind the Lines in the US), adapted from Pat Barker's 1991 novel. It follows British Army officers during World War I at Craiglockhart War Hospital, where they are treated for psychological trauma. The film stars Jonathan Pryce, James Wilby, and Jonny Lee Miller.
