Ride with the Devil is a 1999 American Civil War film directed by Ang Lee, based on Daniel Woodrell's novel Woe to Live On. Set on the Kansas-Missouri border, it follows young Missourians who join the Confederate-sympathizing Bushwhackers, including an unlikely ally fighting for the South despite being a former slave.
