El Alamein - The Line of Fire (Italian: El Alamein - La linea del fuoco) is a 2002 Italian war drama written and directed by Enzo Monteleone. Told from the Italian perspective, it follows a young university student volunteer assigned to the 17th Infantry Division Pavia in the Egyptian desert as it endures the Second Battle of El Alamein in October 1942.
