L'aube du monde (Dawn of the World) is a 2008 French-Iraqi feature film written and directed by Abbas Fahdel. Set in the Mesopotamian Marshes of southern Iraq, it follows two young Marsh Arabs whose marriage is interrupted by the Gulf War and the 1991 uprisings.
