The Town is a 2010 American neo-noir crime thriller film co-written and directed by Ben Affleck, adapted from Chuck Hogan's 2004 novel Prince of Thieves. The movie centers on a Boston bank robber who develops romantic feelings for a victim from one of his previous heists while concealing his true identity from her. Simultaneously, he and his criminal crew plan one final major robbery at Fenway Park. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 8, 2010.
