Age of Heroes is a 2011 British war film directed by Adrian Vitoria, based on the real-life events of the formation of Ian Fleming's 30 Commando unit during World War II. Sean Bean plays Major Jack Jones, who oversees a platoon's intensive training as they prepare to parachute into occupied Norway on their first classified mission. Co-stars Danny Dyer, Aksel Hennie and James D'Arcy.
