Special Forces (French: Forces spéciales) is a 2011 French war action film directed by Stéphane Rybojad. Filmed on location in France, Djibouti, and Tajikistan, the film follows a group of elite French naval commandos on a desperate hostage rescue mission in the Afghanistan/Pakistan area after journalist Elsa (Diane Kruger) is kidnapped by the Taliban. Co-stars Djimon Hounsou, Benoît Magimel and Tchéky Karyo.
